Katerina and China are best friends. the kind you see doing everything together:going to parties, checking out guys, and getting in trouble. Katerina is the troubled one out of the both of them. and she thanks God every day because her best friend China is there for her. China is smart, and easily hurt but has a great way of hiding her emotions. one day China is recognized for her singing talent and gets signed in L.A. she tells Katerina about her move, and Kat goes haywire. she can't eat or sleep because her best friend is leaving her. As the girls get older China is managing good grades, jobs and finally being noticed and Kat is trying to restrain her self from drinking another bottle and sharpening the razor blade.
