vamp | D. Kaminari

Being a vampire is not the problem.

You have lived with your quirk, Cainite, since you were a child. Super speed, insane strength, mind reading, mind control, brutal regeneration, damage resistance, and fangs sharp enough to make people stare twice. Sure, you need blood to keep your strength up, and pushing your quirk too far can leave you wiped, but none of that has ever made you weak. If anything, it made you dangerous in all the right ways.

And with a family like yours, being powerful is practically in your DNA.

Your mother, Aya L/n, the Pro Hero Ketsueki, is one of the most feared blood-based heroes in Japan. Your father, Hiroto L/n, the Pro Hero Kyōbō, is a terrifying force in combat with a berserker quirk that lets him fight through almost anything. And as if that was not enough, Vlad King is your uncle. So no, coming to U.A. as a first-year is not some wide-eyed fresh start for you. You know exactly what power looks like. You were raised by it.

Then there is Denki Kaminari.

Annoying, funny, weirdly charming, and way more observant than people give him credit for, Denki gets under your skin almost immediately. What starts as teasing and stupid jokes turns into late-night talks, electric chemistry, and a boy who looks at everything intense and unsettling about you and only seems to like you more for it.

When Denki finds out you are basically a vampire, he does not flinch.

He just grins and says, "That's hot."

And honestly? That might be the beginning of everything.

Because being powerful has never scared you.

But liking someone enough to let them see every part of you?
That might be the dangerous part.
