She knew she was being watched. She knew because she could feel the goosebumps up and down her arm. She knew because the hairs on the back of her neck were standing on end. She knew because just two seconds previously she had shuddered involuntarily. It could have been the weather; she remembered the weather lady saying it was only one degree Celsius on the news this morning. She wondered if the temperature had now dropped into minuses *** The shelf near the stairs was where all their family's most important objects stood. A photo of all three of them; her father's first ski medal; her mother's first pair of heels, the shell from her parents honeymoon in Hawaii, her grandad's Mattock, a special tool used by archeologists to break up hard ground, Izzy's first fossil that she found at the beach and, of course, the family jar. The jar had been there forever as far as Izzy knew; if there was one thing Izzy knew from reading all of her grandad's archeology books it was that this jar was at least two thousand years old, possibly more and the delicate patterns around its perimeter suggested it was Greek. Hello my name is Ruby and I am the older sister of Peter. My mothers name is Mary and my father is the fairy prince. When my mother was only five years old her parents were murdered in front of her by thieves. The robbers didn't notice her. My mother cried over her parents bodies and made a wish upon the second star to the right. She wished for someone to take her away so she didn't have to worry about robbers and having to be sent to an orphanage. The fairy queen my grandmother heard her wish and granted it. My mother was brought to neverland and she grew up along side the chief of neverlands tribe who at the time was the prince of the tribe. When my mother turned twenty she met the fairy prince and they fell in love. Together they were married with my grandmother's blessing. My father as able to turn into a human that night and I was conceived. My father did not die and was able to turn back into a fairy. When I was only three I gained amazing powers. I could anything that was possible and impossible. My mother was so excited and so was my father. I trained along side the princess tiger Lilly and we became sisters because her father was my godfather. I then met five young girls who were just like me. They mothers had married five of the fairy princes guard who were his friends. My mother and their mothers were all brought up together because the same thing that happened to my mother happened to them as well. The five girls names were: Crystal, Emerald, Opal, Sapphire, Amber. Our mothers names us after the gemstone that glowed near us once we were born. We became fast friends.
