The reason for Y/n being a female in this instead of gender neutral is for plot reasons since this does take place in the early 1900's, Taishō era, Japan. I do prefer making and reading gender neutral Y/n's so I might make a version of this story and the yandere one with different dialogue and comments to suit a gender neutral reader. Thank you.

(Y/n) is a foreign girl who ended up in a land she didn't know. With people she didn't know, with a language she didn't know, with a culture she didn't know.

Scared and confused, she tries to adapt with a humble family in the snowy mountains of Japan. And soon, travels with the young Kamado on his journey to find a way to change his sister back into a human and kill the demon king, Kibutsuji Muzan.

As she befriends others with her limited Japanese, they start to feel different. Both with her and others.

Will she find out with her poor lack of communication? Will she choose anyone?
