Piper never thought her parents would send her to camp. She usually spent her summer alone in her room or watching her neighbor's cats while they went on vacation. But when Piper's dad has enough he sends her off to camp to become a camp counselor. Annoyed and upset she tries to go back home but this camp has other plans for her. Camp Heartwell wasn't exactly boring it had a large bog, trails, and even a sports area but it didn't suit Piper's taste and made her want to go home even more. But camp Heartwell wasn't exactly what she thought it was. Piper begins getting haunted by an old camp story and when campers start getting injured and go missing its up to Piper and her new friends to figure out whats going on and why her time at camp isn't going as smoothly as she thought.
