Three simple words that changed Ellie Canviar's life.

Ellie Canviar lived a difficult life. Her father left her mom and her before she was even born. She came home to an alcoholic abusive, bipolar mom everyday, and was barely surviving considering she was making more money than her mom. Being at home wasn't pleasant, and neither was being at school. She had no social life and was looked down upon by everyone because she was "different". To cope with it all, she turned to self harm. That's until Mrs. Vedenie, the guidance counselor, came up with the idea of The Therapy Group to help her. Along with 11 other students, Ellie finds herself being opened to new things: friendship, trust, recovery, and love.
