George Weasley is a broken man following the end of the Wizarding War, and the sudden loss of his twin brother, Fred. He spends his hours wallowing in his bedroom above his abandoned joke shop, or drowning his sorrows in the Leaky Cauldron.

Genevieve Crawford is equally lost following the end of the War, but for her own, different reasons. She finds herself a job as the newest barmaid in the Leaky Cauldron, and spends her hours working, trying to find a new purpose in life.

The two lost young adults meet in a moment that feels like fate. But will they make each other, or break each other further?

His wet hair is effortlessly brushed out of his face, stray pieces of platinum sticking to his forehead. - - - - - - - - Madison is a new student at Hogwarts.
