Harry Potter decides to be reborn, and of course he drags two people along. Those being Draco Malfoy, and Hermione Granger.
So now they're reborn to the world as we know as Vampire Diaries. Now Hermione Bennett, Draco Forbes, and a once Eva Joeneth Gilbert but leagaly changed to Harriet Chu'si Patrova once the adoptive parents are dead. Draco is the older twin of Caroline Forbes, Hermione is the older sister of Bonnie Bennett, and Harriet is the younger identical twin of Elena Gilbert.
See them on this new adventure, especially since they have all of their memories intact.
