A series of nostalgic events that occurred before the war in 'The Phases of a Rose' Sonic AU story that is also written by me. 

This is the pre-war edition, filled with fun times, laughs, heart-to-hearts and sweet romantic scenes between Amy and her two lovers: Shadow and Sonic. 

Discover how this ambitious pink hedgehog grew to love these two opposing hedgehogs, and how her other friends' relationships unfolded. These events not only follow Amy, Sonic and Shadow's point of view, but the point of views of the other characters in the franchise. 

These events are are also not written in order. It's a game I give to the reader to piece together the puzzle. Consider this a canon spin-off of the story, and pay attention, for many things here will be referenced.

(Shadow x Rouge)- because I like more of the idea Rouge with Knuckles and Shadow doesn't really see Rouge as a friend more like a work partner instead so that's why 3. (Tails x Cosmo)- Yes I know that Cosmo was Tails first love interests but I never really cared about Cosmo so yea and besides I like Cream with Tails more than I do them 4. (Shadow x Maria)- because I've always saw them as a sister and brother more than a couple...5. (Mephiles x Silver)- again it just feels strange to me I just don't think they go to together in my opinion....

Shadow, in his quest to further explore his purpose as The Ultimate Lifeform, seeks Tail's assistance in harnessing his DNA, to cure all disease, starting with NIDS. Amy, feeling the pressure of time, ends her relationship with Sonic, despite their mutual feelings for one another, as he's simply not ready to settle down and commit. Following Rouge's suggestion, Amy turns to Tails for help with her fertility concerns, however, an unexpected incident alters her plans, leading to the emergence of a groundbreaking discovery. This is The New Wave Ultimate Lifeform.

Amy Rose secretly writes fanfiction out of the not so famous 'Sonic Boom' show in which she and her friends are the main actors. Everything was fine, filming the show and then writing. However, everything changed when the famous actor, Shadow the Hedgehog, showed up to participate in the show. Just like Amy, Shadow hides a secret. He loves to read fanfiction but will never admit that out loud. Shadow one day stumbles upon Amy's fanfiction and without knowing, they develop a friendly bond over comments, likes and messages of support. On work, Shadow and Amy have a normal co-worker relationship that will never develop more than that. They fight in real life but are best-friends online. When I was watching them in my childhood, I start thinking about what will happen if I combine some of the stories and make one of my own.
