Aria Peril, the lead Sergeant of a ragtag group of ODST wisecracks, has been stuck trying to run a division with no second in command and no officer. Though she does her job well, and most of the troops respect her greatly, there are still some who have issues with what is to come.
The year is 2552, just after the Great Schism, and an Epoch-Class Heavy Carrier is retuning to Earth after several years in space. With the Human-Covenant war coming to an end, the troops are getting cabin fever and the real shenanigans begin.
Some new troops are headed their way and Aria is making the appropriate preparations for their arrival.
Rha' Bahtiyaree, a Sangheili Ultra, is among the new arrivals. It is love at first sight, and Aria is head over heals! Much to her disappointment, he is their new division officer but despite that, the attraction is actually mutual.
Rha' and Aria are now faced with a predicament; follow the orders of the military or allow themselves to immerse in a forbidden love?

There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters. Halo: Star-Crossed (In Production)
In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

Maiara values her independence and resists the aptitude testing that would connect her to advancement beyond mandatory service. But after University and before she can deploy to the Corps, she is selected to attend the Reevan Gala. Viceroy Alreiks, provides representation to the Universal Council for Humanity, as a higher order species. The Gala is an event that is mathematically calculated to pair genetically beneficial matches between humans and the Reeva, though built on a framework of anonymity and consent for the human participants involved. A few hours of pleasure build a connection between them that will alter the course of the universe in years to come.
