With their childhood behind them, Katsuki Bakugou and Shouto Todoroki are entering high school closer than ever. Always having the other to lean on, they swear to prioritize their friendship first. Over school, over girls, over everything. 

Unfortunately, high school comes with its own complications: pressures to succeed, navigating romantic relationships, and the rough battle to self-acceptance. When these troubles arise, neither Katsuki nor Shouto are prepared, and what was once considered an unbreakable bond begins to crack. 

Both boys plan to keep their promise. They're going to get through high school, and they're going to do it together. But as they discover more about themselves, as well as each other, "together" takes on a new meaning. And if they embrace it, that new meaning may allow their friendship to evolve into something deeper than they ever anticipated.

Out of the kindness of his heart, Todoroki agrees to do Bakugou's homework assignments for him so he can work on becoming a stronger hero. But Todoroki has a condition of his own. In exchange for doing his homework, Todoroki wants Bakugou to become more in touch with his affectionate side. That includes hand holding, hugging, cuddling, and everything in between. Any display of affection Todoroki wants, Bakugou has to comply. Bakugou hates the idea, obviously, but he has no other choice. He's beyond excited to enjoy his summer vacation with all of his friends. That is, until he learns that Katsuki Bakugou, his former crush, is assigned to be his roommate. Todoroki's relationship with Bakugou has always been rocky. And just when it seemed like they were forming a genuine friendship during their second year, Bakugou pushed him away for reasons Todoroki still doesn't understand. Now Todoroki is dreading having to share a room with someone with such a clear hatred for him. But little does he know, a lot can change in ten days.
