Carmen West-a second year high schooler at Manual-never had much in the ways of friends or family, music is really the only pal she's ever known. But that all changes when a new boy that had just moved from Germany comes into her class.
When they meet in an accidental bump into on the streets they become friends instantly. All seems normal about the new kid, and Carmen's thought of finally having a nice cool friend seems reasonable...until the boy reveals a horrible act from his past making Carmen slightly scared, but not enough to make her leave him behind as a bad idea...
