Her father and mother have come to America so that they can teach Darjeeling and her young brother Michael about American culture, while they didn't know what Darjeeling and her new friend named, Kay was up to. This would make both Darjeeling's and Kay's parents and family concerned. What will happen now? Do their families disapprove of their friendship? Or is there more to it than what meets the eye? The writing style will also be a little different] Fantastic. First I failed to mediate a family argument, now my baby brother and best friend are on the run for murder. This night cannot get any worse. And through everything that's been going on, the only person who can calm my anxiety is the last person I would expect to. And I can't help but wonder if one day they'll abandon me too. But let me introduce myself first. Most know me merely as Winnie Curtis. Only those closest to me get to call me "Sissy," and only one person is allowed to call me "Doll" without getting their teeth knocked in. Lots of people probably only know me as "that greaser girl." But ask any Soc and they'll tell you that i'm that greaser girl who will beat the tar out of anyone who dares hurt her brothers. I know y'all have probably heard our story before.
