After his unexpected trip to Russia and his eventual return back to America. Jim Hopper, Joyce Byers, Murray, and all of the kids make their first stop somewhere they know they're all safest at in Hawkins. The surprise twist though, is Jim bringing back his Russian guardian (of sorts) with him to America and to "the safe house".
The surprise guest doesn't go over as well as Jim initially hopes. Something that Joyce and Murray told him would happen. But the residents of the home don't turn people away when they need help. So they allow the Russian to stay, temporarily... at least that the plan to begin with. But plans tend to change, just like people and feelings tend to do... is it for the better though? Or will this cause unwanted problems for keeping everyone safe?
