Tasie Ebony Garden has her personal opinions on heroes and villains. She would rather have not been born with powers than have to pick a side. Cardend is the town with supers who are always making headlines. She thought that once she left her past lives behind, she could be a normal civilian. When Tasie is 'rescued' by a villain, she is thrusted into the world of Heroes and Villains. A world she never thought she would step into again.

Maddox Winters has his own personal agenda with Tasie. She could be the last resort the Ruthless need in order to carry out their plan. He's a villain and of course that comes with a stone cold perspective on life. She is simply just a small part of the equation and then after she is useless. 

Neither of them see eye to eye. I mean who could with a hardheaded villain like Danger and a paradox that Nightshade is.
