The Other Shadow

Tachibana Junichi's first name literally means "obey"- a fact that seemed to make him perfect for the controlling Akashi Seijuro, the leader of Teiko's generation of miracles. Making up the "orange" in the GoM's rainbow and acting as Sei's own shadow, Junichi believed that the team was his family and that basketball was his only escape from the hell that was his life.

But then Sei changed, destroying Junichi in the process and erasing the one thing holding him together.

With his mother dead and his father in jail, and without any friends left in Tokyo, Junichi moves in with his cousin Hinata Shoyo in Miyagi. There, Junichi finds himself involved with yet another team. But can Junichi pick up the pieces of himself that the GoM had helped shatter? And when his old life begins intertwines with his new life, can Junichi finally heal?
