Escape Route (A Gerard Way One Shot)

She didn't want the life she had, always picked on, bullied by the worst of people. She never felt at home. The thought occurred to her as a car would at a stop sign; stopping immediately. She thought of death, a safe haven, her home. She wanted so badly to go, never being picked on again and nothing was holding her back. That is, nothing but Gerard. He said he felt her pain, lived in it everyday. Of course, she never believed him. The only time she did was when his funeral came around. The word spread slowly, not being much of a friendly person with others. It was then, that she felt for him, cared for him. This was her chance to make things right, take the right path home. This was her time to shine, even in the darkest of cities, times, and futures. This was the time for her to bring Gerard back from the grave, or her to the grave with him.
