Two athletes, one bet, and the most significant loss of all-two words.
Meet her: Sofia Delezar, captain of UFN's soccer team. Sarcastic, hard-headed, and tired of the lack of media and respect the female athletes at UFN are receiving.
Enter him: Stephan Westerman, star player of UFN's football team, careless, big flirt, and so happens to be UFN's golden boy with all the attention in the world. However, struggles to maintain a picture-perfect reputation.
The agreement: In the span of four months, Stephan takes on the task of giving Sofia's soccer team the recognition they deserve. In return, Sofia "dates" Stephan in order to shake off his playboy reputation and mend his relationship with his parents.

"Don't go falling in love with me, Delezar," his words lace with sarcasm.
"Yeah, 'cause you're such a catch?" My brow cocks upward.
"Wanna bet?" he shrugs, a taunting glint in his brown eyes.
"An easy win," I retort, crossing my arms over my chest.
"A competition," he declares, leaning back in his chair, his smug expression riling me up.
"If, over these four months, someone-"
"You," I interject.
"Right... If it so happens that one of us, specifically you, catches feelings during our little 'relationship,' you lose," he explains, as though it's the simplest concept in the world.
"And what does the winner get?"
"You get to break the other person's heart," he says matter-of-factly.
"Plus..."
"You win."

Brielle Stone (19)
Freshman communications major at UCLA. A mix of chaos and charm. Streetwear, crop tops, hoodies, and heels. She works out religiously, the gym is her therapy, the one place she feels in control.
Behind the confident smile and smoky eyeliner is a girl still learning how to breathe. Her parents have always decided everything for her : her grades, her friends, her image. The rebellion came late, but it came loud. Smoking. Parties. People she never texts back. Freedom is her quiet revenge. She wants to be a social media manager : something that's hers, something creative, something free.
She's got confidence that fills a room; baggy cargos one day, tiny black dress the next. Hiphop playlists, lip gloss, and gym sessions are her therapy. She's not soft, not easy to impress, and not about to fall for a guy like Asher... or so she tells herself.
Asher Kane (20)
Second-year business major and UCLA's soccer star. He's the kind of guy who walks into a room and people notice, not because he tries, but because he just owns it. He's 6'1, athletic, with that casual designer look, chains, crisp shirts, and sneakers worth more than some cars.
He vapes between classes, drinks to forget his father's expectations, and smokes when the pressure builds. Soccer is his escape, his one rebellion against the life planned for him: taking over the family's international business empire.
Soccer is his life... until Brielle starts to mess with his focus in ways he didn't expect.
Everyone thinks he's the confident, flirtatious bad boy. But he's just trying to hold himself together.
