Our town was never perfect in our eyes but we never could have imagined what was really happening within these town walls, or rather underneath them.
There was something happening to the people in this town, something unspeakable.
What was happening? Good question, because all anyone would hear are the blood-curdling screams before they disappeared forever.
It was obvious that something was going on in this town, but yet nobody seemed to have a problem with it.
Well no one besides my friends and I that is. We are going to find out exactly what is going on in Sundale Heights.

Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with. If you go down to the woods today... Well, in this town, you probably won't come back. Unexplained deaths and disappearances are normal around here. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us.
