Chestnut was just a simple soldier in the SandWing war of succession, trying to keep his sibs safe. A loyal and successful soldier.
That all changed when the letter arrived. The letter that told him and his sib group to go to a meeting.
It was supposed to be a normal meeting, just something to figure out what course of action to take in the war that was tearing apart the continent.
But when Chestnut is accused of treason, how can he survive a world that is out to get him? Will he even be able to go back to his tribe?
This story is a fanfiction of Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland. Rights go to her. The original things are the most of the characters and part of the plot. This story includes spoilers for Winglets #2: Assassin as well as books #1-5 of Wings of Fire.

This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7.
