Astrid was a protector at heart, he was quiet and kept to himself most of the time but he will defend his loved ones no matter what.
Billy was a scared little kid at heart, he was loud and confrontational to mask the broken boy beneath the surface. He was alone. Until suddenly, he wasn't.
Astrid was new to Hawkins and Billy Hargrove wasn't making things any easier, but Astrid being persistent to be there when no one else would allowed him to see a new side of Billy. But just their luck, that was when everything went to shit.
