In the expanding multiverse of Di'aull, controlled by Methas unaware of good and evil, the birth of a new universe is endangered by the appearance of an old enemy. Thanks to the decisive action of a cartographer and a wizard, the planned unfoldment continues as planned at the very last moment.
When Ardor, the master builder of Marantium, gets a promotion to be the Great Mantlelord of Urantium, he undergoes mental bewilderment whereby he chooses the wrong employee as his most important assistant.
The cartographer, who fell into disfavor, is trading an intoxicant substance that he smuggled into the feast to obtain a high post in the new empire. With some luck and lots of eloquence, he can bend the path of his destiny to establish peace in the rival home worlds.
Ardor overcomes his confusion and notices that creation does not fully mature to fruition because the ruler of the inner realm roams between the stars and immerses himself in creation, while others break down his omnipotence in favor of their own races. Envy, conspiracy, rivalry, betrayal, and deceit are reigning. Unfortunately, the survival of Urantium is yet again at stake.
After careful deliberation, the Mantlelord chooses a new master builder who is as difficult to find as a striped unicorn

No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. New chapters will be posted on Fridays for as long as it takes to tell the whole story. For Wattpad only, chapters are split up by individual scenes-if you would prefer the whole chapters in single pieces, please visit my homepage or another site where I post this story, thanks! For years, dragonkind and humankind had been at war, alternating between short-lived truces and all out warfare. In this age, however, humankind had subdued the proud dragonkind and turned them into slaves. Brands seared into their arms with the mark of a weeping dragon; the symbol of their defeat. Darin vehemently hated the mistreatment of the dragonkind, and when a branded runaway boy crossed his path, he made him his apprentice to protect him. Something had to be done. But in a strange turn of events, Darin found himself the leader of a peculiar band of travelers: His new apprentice, a brooding warrior, and an elven healer. Although he rarely traveled with others, he began to enjoy it as a long-term arrangement as days turned into weeks. Yet Amaredeia was still healing its war-ravaged wounds, and the cries of rebellion and anguish rose again. Could he really continue denying the calls of his apprentice's people? The world consists of far more than a few people, and far more than just what you see of them now. All characters have a past, a story, some piece of themselves hidden by time that makes clear who they are today. These hidden aspects can be revealed by more than just their stories, too; sometimes, what happens off-screen is even more important than what's on display. Follow me through the world our heroes and villains inhabit and see just how far we can go together! -This is all backstory and world-building for the Freelands of Into That Wild Blue Yonder (https://www.wattpad.com/story/214070883-into-that-wild-blue-yonder). Just around 50K words. -I also wrote up a brief encyclopedia with general world info here (https://www.wattpad.com/story/216689041-a-brief-encyclopedia-of-the-reimagined-world). Contains no spoilers.
