So this book is based off of a series of dreams I had but I changed the characters to my friends (With their permission). My friends and I get kidnapped and taken to an unknown location. After being given clothes, weapons, and other supplies, we are cast out into a forest that we soon find is infested... with cannibals. Seeking sanctuary, my friends and I find a cave but we all quickly realize that the cave just might play a bigger part in the forest then we thought. Can we survive? Can we make it home? Or will we end up like the other people before us? Insane.

The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!! I'm not a writer but I've had this idea in my head ever since I watched Hostel and Wrong Turn so I figured I'd see if anyone else is interested. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.
