So this book is based off of a series of dreams I had but I changed the characters to my friends (With their permission). My friends and I get kidnapped and taken to an unknown location. After being given clothes, weapons, and other supplies, we are cast out into a forest that we soon find is infested... with cannibals. Seeking sanctuary, my friends and I find a cave but we all quickly realize that the cave just might play a bigger part in the forest then we thought. Can we survive? Can we make it home? Or will we end up like the other people before us? Insane.

Each character is based off of one of my friends. I use out nicknames instead of our actual names.All Rights Reserved

I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.
