Josephine Brenner was now used to the confinement of the white tiled walls of Hawkins National Laboratory. She'd been there since she was 10, when she had met 001, Henry. He was an unusual child, differing greatly from the childish kids she'd known from school. He was special. And he was her first friend she'd ever made in that lab. After a year, he'd disappeared, dead, her father claimed. But something in her told her he was still alive, trapped. But what could she do, with nearly all her memories of him gone? Why couldn't she remember him as clearly?

8 years later, she works as an orderly under her father, desperate for change. That's when she meets Peter, a cold, mysterious figure with a face too perfect to be true. His eyes were too blue and fair, and his blonde waves perfectly framed his golden face. Was he the answer to her lifetime of questions? What did he know that she didn't?

This story is a Romance-thriller-mystery full of everything you didn't know you needed. Through the lens of Josephine, you find out the secrets of Hawkins Lab along with the thrill of Peter Ballard and his mysterious demeanor.
