The city of Eximius runs a tight ship. There are extensive tests and observations of each citizen that help everyone find their perfect role in society. They are assigned their ideal job, living arrangements, and spouse. Everyone has a place and no one has to question anything. It's how they've avoided rebellion for all these years. Well, except that one time. But they don't talk about that. Those people were freaks anyway. Weird, supernatural abilities caused by a genetic mutation. But they wiped them out before they could do any real harm. Sure, sometimes food goes missing, alarms trigger for now reason, and well, some young adults disappear each year after graduation...but there's really no cause for concern. Eximius has everything under control, just like they always have and always will.
