Luke Hemmings is considered "crazy." Well, as crazy as you can be when your own father murdered your mother. Luke has been from foster home to foster home for several years, never fitting into any home or place. On his 18th birthday, Luke was moved across country (having been all around the U.S. and Australia) from a small town in Bangor, Maine; to a town in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia. New town. New faces. New start. And a new place to work.

You see, Luke isn't like most young adults. His passions and ideas of a goodtime aren't a few drinks or spending time with friends. No. His idea of fun is murder. And when Luke sets his eye on a prize--- or in his case a victim--- he won't stop until he gets it. And Josephine (AKA Joey) has just stepped into Luke's life. She's an opportunity. She's a gift.
