Shuichi Saihara detests social interaction, yet here he is, forced to attend a hellhole called high school and surrounded by classmates he wants nothing to do with. Little does Shuichi know, that each and every single one of them is in a gruelling competition.

This race will be long, difficult, and complicated. The winner of this war will receive one single prize; Shuichi's heart.

Let the battle commence.

During his first day at a new school, Kokichi Ouma falls in love at first sight with an angelic blue-haired student who he later finds out is the son of the principal. As a result of the protective and overbearing nature of the principal, Kokichi's heavily encouraged by his classmates to keep his distance from Shuichi. Of course, that's not nearly enough to deter him from his goal of getting to know the boy. After all, what kind of father dictates who his son can and can't hangout with? Something in his gut was telling him that Shuichi Saihara would be worth all of the consequences he'd face; that there was more to him than just being the principals son. He would certainly be correct about that.
