This is a HTTYD story except Nightfuries never went extinct and Valka never disappeared and one day the dragon's raided berk and a Nightfury pack took Hiccup. Hiccup decides not to return to berk and lives with the dragons protecting them. One day Hiccup must return to berk and finds out that nothing has changed since he left, and berk is facing a threat and need him more than ever. Can they work with the dragons? Can they trust Hiccup?

When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions.
