After they retrieved the lightning bolt, Percy disappears, annabeth slowly grows up.. but she has to try and get over him.. well, that's until she finds him when they go to camp Jupiter. He isn't who he is anymore.

Sally finds his son, with barely any memory.. just her walking around. She was recently let out of the underworld. But now she found her son again. She's broken up with gabe. He doesn't remember. Even after his memory back. He doesn't want to. So I suppose they have to change his name.
