Everyone knows the story of Veronique Chanteur. She was born in France and then adopted by a respectable English family and brought over to live in Liverpool, UK when she was five years old. From there she grew as a normal child until she was thirteen, at which time she was cast as the lead role in the school musical. While she sung and danced-an aspiring label was coincidentally in the audience and noticed the young girl's potential. Seizing his moment-he plucked up the young creature and turned her into one of the most famous singers there was. Everyone who met Veronique loved her immediately for she possessed a strength and charisma that few do nowadays.
However everyone always has a best friend-at least, i would hope so-and nobody knew the story of Maisie Greene. She was funny and sweet and Veronique's best friend. Most would gush at the thought of being a celebrity's number one-but Maisie didn't for she was one. Well I was one. Hello I'm Maisie and this is my story for I am 'The Background'.
