"Should we pinky promise?"

"What?"

"Like, if we're going to trust each other," he explains. "Then we should make a pack."

"With a pinky promise?"

He shrugs his shoulders and gives me a toothy grin. "Why not?"

I give him a small smile, "Alright then."

We stand up and extend our hands to each other, pink out.

"So," I begin as I hook my pinky with his. "We will travel south together, then go different ways?"

He nods his head, still making eye contact with me, "And we will watch each others back and stay loyal.

"Deal?"

"Deal."
