Half-blood

where there are mythical creatures of light and darkness. The story began long ago when there was a beautiful young lady, Ala, who wished she could be the most clever, strong, swift, and graceful animal. She searched for a wish giver. She found one in the most unlikely place. Her home. “The thing you could most want to be is yourself, young one.” The wish giver, Jacen, had told her, she did not believe him and went ahead and wished to be the animal that had all the wonderful qualities. Her bones tingled, and she grew a beautiful long tail, and paws. Her her nose grew into a muzzle, and Jacen was terrified of her. That beautiful creature was a Wolf. She was a halfblood wolf now. She never went out of wolf form, and  later, she had a litter. Such beautiful…. Halfbloods. The first thing they did was turn human in front of her eyes, and she gasped, that night, her mate left her forever. Never to be seen again. That litter started a series of halfbloods, leading down to now.
