While Harry was defeating Voldemort, another was dealing with a problem just as big. He's always hidden in the shadows. He watches from afar, never acting. But that's changed.

He's decided. No more will he hide in the shadows.

Remulaus Embersting is an assistant teacher at Hogwarts and Keeper of The Secret. Thing is, he's only seventeen.

Though granted, he is an animagus and a metamorphmagus. An unregistered one, that is. He spends much of his time hiding in his animagus form though.

However, now he is on a quest to destroy the dark being, Volcar. This quest will force him to remove his walls and to trust others. It'll force him to acknowledge that he is human, despite his best attempts to bring himself down.

It'll stick him with an unlikely group of friends, and lead him to finally showing his face.

Remus found himself curious that she seemed leagues different than he himself felt. His body ached with every movement and he'd done his best to contain his temper, a feat that had proven difficult when even the smallest sounds screamed like nails on a chalkboard and then there was that damnable scent of Lilac's and Vanilla...
