His calloused hand trailed softly down my face, starting at my cheek and making its way down until it was wrapped around my neck. Applying pressure against my carotid so he could feel the now increasing beat of my heart, he raised his thumb until it met the bottom of my jaw. Slowly, he forced my head higher until my eyes met his. I swallowed anxiously attempting to keep my composure.

"What makes you so sure?" I whispered breathlessly, taunting him.

"Tell me, bambina, if i'm wrong," his voice was low and coarse. Grinning, he tightened his grip before continuing, "why haven't you stopped me?"
