Being a homeschooled 15 year old orphan with superpowers, Carmen King felt like the universe was punishing her, like it had something against her entire existence. She felt like it was her mission to hide from the world, to make sure nobody knew who she was. But that plan came crashing down when she got an unexpected visit from a mysterious man with an eye patch, who told her that the Avengers needed her, and her powers. Having nothing else better to do, the teenager agreed to help, and found out that her life was about to get even crazier than she had expected.
