A sickness - like a mere case of the chills or a minor whitecough in a patient - is often something a medicine cat can easily fix, with some leafy catmint or perhaps a pawful of feverfew. It is vanquished effortlessly, and the illness is gone. It does not come back unless someone receives it again. But when the Clans have contracted a terrible sickness, StarClan has not answered for moons, and they are losing numbers quickly, nobody knows what to do. The medicine cats have done all they can for their Clanmates, however, nothing has worked. No longer outside the elder's den lay a lazy, gray-muzzled cat. The nursery, ever so faintly smelling of milk, only contains memories of what used to happen in the usually cheery den. The warrior's den only have three or four inhabitants, each of which thinks grimly of the day that the sickness could come upon them. The apprentice's den, in some Clans, has one cat who comes to sleep in it each night, cold and alone. Others are empty, filled with grief for lost futures. Leaf-fall has tumbled upon the Clans. Leaf-bare approaches, peeking over the treetops some mornings. This awful illness has lasted since Green-leaf and, still, with the medicine cats searching every day and the warrior's eyes peeled for it, a cure has not been found. However, each Clan has a reason for StarClan not answering them, and they mostly stick to it. Withering herbs, Clanmates, may wilt until they are nothing but a pile of dust, blown away by wind. { Copying of any sort is NOT PERMITTED. } { The cover is made by the lovely @Talfli - go give her a follow & some votes. } { highest ranking: 40 in warriorcats | 1 in warriorcatsfanfiction }

Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. A silent storm will sweep across them and leave no traces; they might as well prepare to die in the white flakes of leaf-bare, covered up by mounds of snow, lost and forgotten. {This is a rewrite of my story and just like before, copying isn't allowed} {This is also a work of fanfiction! I do not own Warrior Cats!}

Her life gets turned upside down when a rebel group of exiles stages an assault on the NightClan camp, leaving holes in Brindlekit's heart that leads to a lifetime of troubled romance. Friskykit is the daughter of Shardstar, - formerly Despairheart - DarkClan's new leader. Even under new leadership, DarkClan has been struggling the most from the aftermath of the battle with Fishstar, and the rising tension in Friskykit's own family could be enough to turn her against them. After being brought to the NightClan camp by Dewfur, Lunakit is raised alongside Petalkit, Splatterkit, and Skykit, believing herself to be of NightClan blood. All she can remember from her past is a gray sky full of snowfall, which convinces her to team up with her best friend Brindlekit to solve the mystery of the scorching heat of this year's leaf-bare. Stormpaw knows his place. Despite being the son of the deputy of AquaClan, he knows he'll never amount to anything more than an average warrior. His greatest fear is being a disappointment to his family, and to lose his sister - Cloudypaw, who he knew was always destined for greatness. But when two wandering apprentices stumble upon one of his patrols, he feels compelled to help them. Why? He has no idea. Cherrykit is desperate. After watching dozens of her brother's failed attempts to woo Thunderstrike's daughter, she's marveled at the thought of a fairytale romance. Alas, she must've thought too much, since StarClan drops her right into a dramatic love triangle. No - a love square! This is a sequel to "The Darkest Star," so please read that first.

32 parts Complete Mature

Life leads us down paths we can't anticipate, and for young Redwhisker, it seems to never stop giving him twists and turns. He's always been maltreated, cast out, thrown aside, and willfully ignored by his own Clanmates - and he's known why for ages. After all, who could expect any different reaction to a fox living in a Clan of cats? Redwhisker finds it hard to believe he deserves any respect or equality with his Clanmates. He is sure that he will remain an outsider until he dies, and even then there's no guarantee of him making it to StarClan to reunite with the cat who mothered him. These beliefs, though, are shattered by a chance meeting with someone who may be an even stranger anomaly than him. He's thrust into conflict, between Clans and between himself, as he questions his innermost expectations and realizes he's been playing the game wrong this whole time.
