This is book one of the hidden wonder series.

Kiera is a 26 year old fae/vampire hybrid, the world is much different now than it was back then. where vampires, fae, and werewolves stayed hidden, especially the fae, those of pure fae blood or species with invitations were able to cross through to the world of Faerie, where fae often go to connect spiritually and strengthen their powers. Although the decision was made to finally reveal all species 50 years ago, Kiera likes to stay hidden, for the soul reason that being a fae and vampire hybrid makes her someone to fear, someone to use, someone to kill. With the ability to use all elements and the last fae of the world to use light. Unfortunately it's becoming harder and harder to stay hidden with species becoming more hostile towards one another.  there are plans of war, but it seems there may be love that will squirm it's way through her heart as well as we embark on the journey with Kiera where she strengthens herself, learns to believe in herself, and feels more alive than she ever has before. 


        "I'm glad I caught you before you went to sleep." He says in a low tone.

He leans down and his lips are barely touching the base of my ear, my eyes close shut. "Truly Lucky timing, since you left me without saying goodbye, Kiera." His voice sends shivers through me.

I hear him take a deep breath through his nose. 

"Your scent is.....intoxicating." He groans softly. 

I'm breathless... leaning into him, wanting to give in to the pull of his commanding energy.

My eyes pop open when my brain starts working again. Okay play times over. I conjure air wrapping it around him quickly and shoot him 10 feet down the hall away from me. 

"Uhh hah.. this was..really great!" I clear my throat "okay see ya tomorrow!" I slam my door shut. 

Oh my gods... this was really great? See you tomorrow? I can feel my body cringing into itself.

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
