It started with a journal.
It was just a simple journal, but a journal all the same and it belonged to no one, left in the girls wash room day after day. It was empty, that is, until it wasn't. It may have started with a journal, but it wouldn't have started at all without the letter.
Perhaps the girls felt a connection to the journal's loneliness that drove them to fill it with their deepest hopes, regrets, and lowest points. Perhaps they simply sought comfort in reading about hardships worse than their own. Whatever the reason may be, the pages were filled with confessions a plenty.
The journal was no longer just a book, but the best friend of every girl in the school. A collection of letters and a connection between everyone who had ever felt like nothing at all. Together, they created an unbreakable bond.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
