Frank, a gay boy who was kicked out of his Jersey home, was one day on MySpace. He found a page on an adorable boy named Gerard who sang and talked on forums about comic books.
Gerard was a suicidal high school junior who's brother Mikey loved filming, but Mikey, without Gerard's consent recorded him singing and made Gerard a page. Frank always commented on the videos and tried to chat with Gerard until he found that he wasn't talking to the beautiful boy he had been listening to.

What made it worse was that it was completely his fault. His mother notices his behaviour afterwards and sends him to a therpy group. He knows he can't be 'cured' because there was nothing to 'cure'.
