Was it just the knowledge that if one or all of them disappeared tonight, no one would come looking?
Being in the barrel was nothing easy. People's lives were lost and forever changed. No one came out the same and that included the crows. Kaz Brekker, aka Dirty Hands, Jesper Fahey, their sharpshooter, Inej Ghafa, also known as the wraith, and Manea Amuerzel who is known by some as the hollow woman, but to them she was the shadow, an unidentified person who lived and worked in the barrel with no affiliation to any gang.
Now, a job is taking them across the fold into certain peril. How fun? Though in all honesty, who doesn't love a good adventure?
