It has been three years since Will Byers and his friends managed to close the gates to the Upside Down for good. Now he's off at college with a new life. Unfortunately, he's pulled right back into the mix when he receives a call from the presumed-dead Max Mayfield. Now he has to go back to Hawkins and hope nothing gets out of hand. Mike Wheeler hasn't talked to Will Byers in a year or so now, but when he shows up in Hawkins with this good-looking, muscle-filled, smirk-wearing guy by his side, he can't help but feel a little jealous. Now he has to deal with the Upside Down coming back and try to convince Will that he's so much better than this guy. Will the party defeat the Upside down for good... or will it be the other way around? And how are their personal obstacles going to affect that outcome? IMPORTANT! He wasn't planning on telling anyone about his feelings for Mike soon, Especially not Mike since he knew Mike would never like him back and it would ruin their whole friendship.
