After Link delt the final blow to Calamity Ganon, they had succeeded. However, Ganon also managed to strike a final, deadly blow on Link, using the last of his power Ganon shot a beem of pure Malace through Link's heart, killing him as soon as he hit the ground. Link was then placed in an experimental Resurrection Pool the Sheikah of old never fully finished, in hopes that it would heal and restore him sooner that the last time. However, that experimental pool did much more than simply resurrect him, and with the return of Ganon, things seem dire to all the Champions.
Story starts to take place 2 years after Ganon's fall, then 3 more years to when Link was resurrected. Having seen the BOTW2 trailer, i will be using that as it's story isn't publicized yet, and I will be free to do what I wish. The effects of BOTW will be slightly changed, mainly concerning the fallen Champions, but I will not say what has changed just yet. Just know, not is all what it seems.

Until The Last Breath
A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. ~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Blighted Memories
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. Some of the champions already had a life before the Calamity or the monsters hordes, some of them have nothing left, and the rest just wants to start over. Link has left his position as the Princess's Knight or at least it's what it seems; He has been reasigned to supervise the reconstruction projects; Revali was the general from his own village warrriors during the monster's attacks to the Rito village, but now that the peace has returned, he seems to avoid the return of an ordinary life so he is given the choice of being a supervisor and to be the sign-language interpreter of a certain little knight. Most of that, the true purpose of the projects is the search of Terrako's pieces with the hope of bringing him back; But there are many things that both champions will need to fix, most of them, issues in their personal lifes. ¿Will they be able to get along?
