Tale of the Returned Untamed

If only the characters had just followed the original script, then the told story would not have turned out so chaotic. But since they strayed and rewrote their own lines surely we are here for the retelling!

Where this story really begins is sixteen years ago, in the year of Wei Wuxian's defection from the Jiang clan of Yunmeng. But that is not the point from where we start reading.

Our story begins on the day of Wei Wuxian's resurrection. When the Lan clan disciples come to offer their help at the Mo estate and a ghost arm wreaks havock, murdering all the people of the Mo clan. Or, that is how the story should have been. Because instead Jin Guangyao miraculously has a change of heart and takes Mo Xuanyu back into the Jin clan!

For a while things seem peaceful. But Wei Wuxian still can not ever escape the shadows from his past. This leads him to meet a person who should not be alive in the present time. Followed by a series of shocking events that not only gives way to escaping the Jin clan, but also leads him right into the arms of Lan Wangji who recognises him at once.

The pair of Wei and Lan decide to investigate the recent issues together and soon learn there are connections to the past, leading to horrifying secrets to be uncovered to the entire world.
