Anita Carlisle had a busy life. Between her part time job, school, her many hobbies and loathing the ground that Steve Harrington walked on, she very rarely got time for herself. It was November 1983, and some would say that she should've been focusing on her own life rather than trying to live up to her parent's expectations. And, of course, trying to avoid her ex best friend every step of the way when seeing him only made her feel dizzy, and all she wanted to do was complain to him and let him make everything better again. She wouldn't admit that, of course, it was bad enough she felt that way in the first place.

But, when one of the kids she babysat goes missing, she's thrown into the life of girls with superpowers and other worldly creatures, and weirdly - back into the arms of the person she claims to hate the most.
