Brooke and Landon were complete opposites, both to them and everyone around them. Brooke was rebuilding her torn-down walls and guarding herself, while Landon was opening his and becoming one of the most social boys in the grade. Brooke watched as Landon dated girl after girl, and after wishing it was her, began hating Landon for moving on so quickly after a 'broken heart'.
Three weeks into their junior year in high school, though, Brooke acquires a literature project that instructs her to spend three weeks with Landon and ask him questions about himself. Brooke never realized how much she didn't know about the boy she grew to hate, how much she had in common with him, and just how fast three weeks could go by.
