The war is over. The Reds of Norta are finally free and the time for ruling Silvers are gone. Mare is living in the mountains of Montfort with her family but living a life filled with trauma and scars. Everyone knows the days of the lightning girl are over. Instead, Gisa Barrow, Mare's younger sister, decides it's her time to help the Scarlet Guard. The Lakelands' Reds are still living like creatures and the war is far from over.
