Lynette Stone was fat and obese... well not really. But that's how she felt. And it's not all she felt.
She often felt alone, depressed, and above all suicidal. All she's ever wanted was to be skinny, but even more, she wants a friend who truly understands her.
She feels she's met such a friend when she meets Michael Armstrong, a boy suffering from EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified) who has recently moved to town.
Together, the two friends explore the dangerous worlds of starving, binge eating, and purging, all in an attempt to silence the voices in their heads that tell them they're not perfect.
They think that their friendship is what's keeping them both alive, but is it really pushing them both closer to suicide?
