No one knows why, but the dead have returned to Hawkins. Two years after Vecna's defeat, those who were lost have been found, and miraculously healed of all injury. But just how far did those wounds heal? In discovering this, Eddie Munson must learn what it means to be loved and Billy Hargrove must learn what it means to be human. Both must learn what it means to be alive again.
