Ellie, also known as Ruby Spirit, goes to U.A High, one of the most prestigious hero academies in Japan. The murder of her parents put her in the care of Aizawa, her godfather.  Ellie's past experiences have made her cynical and easily misunderstood. In a world that idolizes heroes, Ruby Spirit's reputation does not fit the mold of what a true hero is.
