They edged closer... closer... and now... they were here. Three large masses hung in the sky; a thick red laser beam attached to each. The lasers stretched from the largest tower in Grenton: The Fenton Tower. 
Screams echoed in the distance, a large cry arising above the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything seemed to stop. 
A large shadow peered down on the city. A boy, sitting in front of a corner store, looked up.

In the dark corners of the galaxy a pack of wolves roamed freely. However when a band of scientists raid the pack they take two young pups, one male and one female, a brother and sister, for testing. They enhance them with illegal drugs and other substances that turned the two wolves into freaks. The she-wolf named Ashen manages to escape with a genetically enhances cat named Grenade. Together they commit small crimes for a living. However when they find a bounty on a man named Peter Quill their whole lives change. They quickly realize they aren't the only ones after him and are caught up in something they didn't understand. They agree to join the small group just so they can have a share of a deal selling a thing called an orb. However Missile begins to develop feelings for one of her accomplices named Rocket. She understands his pain and understands him. Will she be able to confess her feelings for him or will she end up lost in her own despair?

Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats. There is something wrong with Webb and his gang of justice dealers.” Her father warned. “Beware of them.” “Is there anyway I can get you guys out of here?” she whispered. “No. Webb has the only security card that has access to all the prison doors.” One of Webb’s jailed officers informed her. “Is there anything else I should know?” she whispered. There was silence as each of the prisoners considered. “There is a spare blaster in my room,” her father whispered, “keep it with you always, and don’t hesitate to use it, Rose.” This is a first attempt at writing, check out some of my other stuff ( better writing, I promise) and let me know what you think! Might be back by dinner" Was it sudden? Yes, given he had come to the mall with them, but they tried not to worry. This was Jason, after all. The man probably had "crime lord" business to handle that allowed him an easy out of socializing. It only became worrying when dinner went by and he was seen walking into a camera's blindside at the mall with a teen but not exiting the mall. (16,424 Words)

No buildings, no roads, no rescue in sight. Panic began to set in as the boy scrambled to his feet, joining the throngs of teenagers searching for answers. How did they get here? Why were they trapped? And, most pressing of all, how would they survive in this desolate wasteland? As the boy joined the desperate search for survival, he realized that he was not alone in his quest for answers. My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! Never ending hallways and big metal sliding doors that you see in space movies. All I could hear was the patter of my bare feet, heavy breathing, and my heart beating in my ears. "Hey!!! Stop her!
